Corker - Suggestions

What's everyone’s take on the Portuguese Floor corker, using synthetic corks? I figured me renting it for $10 bucks a day just doesn't make sense when I have 6 batches needed bottling.

Suggestions and comments appreciated

I have no problem putting them through. Some folks do with some of the older models. Before going with custom corks I used them for several batches.

Never had a problem using any type of corks with the Portuguese.

My wife and i corked 180 bottles in 2 nights. Floor corker worked great. With the All in one vacuum pump to fill the bottles, it is pretty easy work.

I've been using synthnetics for about 10 years now with my Portuguese corker and have had no problems. I use Nomacorcs and recommend you get these if you can.
