Looking around my store today I found out we have citric acid for really cheap. It says it's for canning tomatoes and that it replaces lemon juice. Does anyone know if this is the same kind of citric acid sold at home brew shops
 
Citric acid is citric acid. It should be identical. Are you using it in fruit wines?
 
Gonna be starting to. Trying to stock up on supplies
 
I would be wary since it might be of a different strength. I am sure it would work, but I would first verify the strength of the acid.
 
Honestly, I would look for an acid or acid blend that states the strength of expected change in TA from an addition of acid. Especially if you do not want to test it out.
