If you're like me, sometimes it is hard to monitor a bunch of "bubblers" going and those that have seized to bubble. The water level is important, especially making sure "that you have enough water in the bubbler," or any at all. So far, the later hasn't yet happened!

I found it enjoyable to view various colors by adding "a drop" of food coloring to each. Now, viewing thru the cellar window makes it alot easier when I either look thru the cellar door window or stand from a distance, I can see the water levels alot more clearly. (I guess it's the age thing creeping in on me!) It's also a good idea to make sure that the coloring matches that of the wine you are making, just in case atmospheric pressure changes cause the levels to reverse!
