Changing the "Kit wine"Taste??

Appleman, my first wine was the IM White Zin. And it has a KT. In your opinion, do you think the KT will go away with time?


Also, is it better to bulk age or bottle after the clarifying process?

It may take a while, but it should lose the KT. This one has a lot of flavors and that might contribute to the taste. Most folks like this one even though this is one of a few I can detect KT in. It may take a year or a little more to go away, but should. I guess it gives us a good excuse to age a year.


You can go either way with the aging, I don't think it really affect the KT one way or another. If you need a carboy, just bottle it, box it up and age.
