Hmmm... We start with juice, sugar and yeast. The yeast eats the sugar, and expels waste in the form of alcohol. Then it dies. We take the juice off the dead yeast, let it sit to clarify/clear, make sure the CO2 is gone, then bottle. This is, of course, at its simplest. Sugar has calories. Alcohol has calories. Is there an easy-to-understand way to figure out how many calories are in the finished product that we've slaved and sweat over? As in, per serving? It'd be kinda cool to add this info to the label, for gifting purposes to those of my folks who are diet-conscious. And... "easy-to-understand" is paramount for me, LOL, as I'm not real good at chemistry and math and such! Thank you in advance!!!
