Sammy funny you posted this as I got the same email and just got done researching this exact product as I was thinking about getting another 1/2 pound. Even with the discount I found this to be very expensive. I bought mine at Vanilla Products USA for $27 for a half pound of Madagascar Bourbon Extract Grade B Vanilla Beans. For extracts you only want grade B. I did buy 2 pounds of cinnamon sticks dirt cheap at Olive Nation.

All this talk about extracts, I'm considering placing an order myself. Was considering a 1/4 lb of vanilla and some cinnamon.
