...wow! This has been exciting To say the least! A week ago Friday, I started a batch of Cab/Shiraz using my "Artful Winemaker". This coming Friday, it should be ready for stabilizing and clearing process.Last Tuesday I started my first "real kit". A "World Vineyard Collection" Chilean Malbec. according to instructions, it was ready to be transferred to carboy for second fermentation (Sg reading was just above 1.000). That seemed to go off without any problems. Yay!! Guess that just sits in the carboy now for about ten days before anything else needs to be done.
Also started a 'Vintner's Reserve" Cab/Sav over at a buddy's place just this last Friday night. What a great guy...he's going to look after everthing over there for me until it's ready to be bottled! another Yay!! Sooo...That makes a total of three kits I have on the go! Kinda thinking I might be hooked on this!!
