Beer bottle question.

I've read not to use screw top beer bottles. Why not?

This might be better placed in the beer making section...but, long and short of it, they do not sell screwtop cappers for homebrew.

Are you saying that screw on beer caps can't reseal the bottle?

To do screw on caps you need the screw on bottle and a screw on cap. I don't know of any homebrew screw on capper available. Further you cannot open a screw cap bottle and expect it to reseal by twisting the cap back on.
