I found this additive on the beverage people’s website. It is supposed to help with VA . I have a Carmenere from last year that smelled like nail polish in December I hit it hard with pot meta a few months ago (100ppm)and it does smell a lot better. So2 is now 48 ppm. I’m going to try this additive and wondered if any of you have tried it?

I know nothing about Bactilles VA but the site is interesting. There are yeasts and tannins I've never seen offered.

Never used Bactilles, but it appears to be a preventative treatment. I'm not sure that it will reduce the amount of VA that already exists in the wine.

I thought that too but I read somewhere that it can be used to reduce. I gave it a shot. See what happens.

I think is what I saw that led me to believe it could help. I have to say though it doesn’t smell that much since I raised SO2 to 100 ppm back in December
