Found a listing for 5 Gal carboys in Addison AL. Thought I would share with the class. Too far for me to drive from Nashville but there are others that are close.

$30 for a 5 gallon is full retail price and sometime you can find them brand new for less than that.

I get 5's for $25 and 6's for $28 at my local place.

Yes, that Addison guy has been posting on CL for months. He has a bunch of them, too, but will not come down on his price.

Anyone viewing this who does not live in the Southeast should know that carboys are priced high here used. 5 gallons for $25 is not uncommon as a used price, and they get snapped up at that. Because there are very very few supply stores here outside of major cities (and it was illegal to "home-brew" in Alabama and Mississippi until very recently), often people will pay that for the convenience and the savings on shipping.

I would love to buy at some of the low prices I see for Northern carboys. It's just different down here.
