aging concord grape wine

Hello its me again is it ok to age wine in one gallon jugs with screw on lids ? its been stablized and degassed for a week or so just wondering if the air locks did something for the flavor, I thank you you your time

Think I would stick airlocks on them. That way they will equalize with changing pressures and if they decide to referment some will just burble the airlocks, not generate big pressure and maybe blow the bottles. I would age in bottles, not gal. jugs. This is just me. Good luck with it, Arne.
