I recently picked up 4 of the plastic 5 gal water jugs. Not planning to use them as carboys but think they would make a great container to hold fresh grape juice for transportation from a winery to home. I live in Pittsburgh & the Erie area is only a couple hours away. Would like to try the Niagara & possibly some Concord juices & make from fresh instead of from a kit. WE had a great Niagara kit but discontinued it a while back.
On a side note can anyone recommend a winery that sells fresh juice in 5-10 gal batches close to the Pittsburgh area, could they still have juice available this late in the season??
