WineXpert 10L Pinot Noir Well recieved...

It is always nice to get compliments, but when it comes done to it, if they are willing to buy your wine, (and yes we are a licensed winery now) that is the greatest compliment. When you can't keep the bottles on the shelves then you know that you are making a good wine. Janice, Tommy's Too...

    Insurance

That would have been a way except that we would have to do it in a 5 acrea plot and the building is within 50 ft of our house. But we don't have to worry about that anymore since we got the insurance from our homeowners insurance company.

    Insurance

Yes, the same company wrote the commercial is the company that we have our homeowners insurance with. Our agent that we have had for a long time couldn't work it out but a different agency was able to get it for us. Don't know why, but we got it and it was half the price that the first agency had.

    Insurance

I want to thank all that posted. We were able to get insurance thru our homeowners insurance thru another agent that was able to get us commercial coverage. I just don't understand why our previous agent couldn't do what this agent could. We are switching agents. Janice

    Insurance

We do have it leased to the winery, but the problem is that it is on the same property as our home and our homeowner insurance company doesn't cover commercial business on the same property.

    Insurance

We are starting a new winery on our property and we are having trouble getting homeowners and commercial insurance. Does anyone out there have their home and winery on the same property and what company do you use? Janice

    A first for me today

We had that happen to us after the last bottling. I am thinking that we also had some bad sorbate. We had two batches that we had to dump and redo the sorbate and k meta. We had only one that blew its cork, thank goodness we caught the rest of them in time.

    Glue off

I let them soak in step one overnight or longer and then use a scouring pad.

    Almost a bottle bomb

Thank you for your reply. I don't know how old the sorbate was, I now have some newer stuff and have added it. I did take an sg reading and it did drop a little from the time that we back sweetened it. I am going to keep an eye on the sg for awhile and wait until it hasn't change for a least...

    Almost a bottle bomb

We bottled a batch that we thought was done fermenting and stable over a week ago. We had back sweetened it and sorbated it before bottling. It was tasting good at the time of bottling. It was a batch of welches concord grape wine. It was sweetened and sorbated on August 2 and we bottled it...
