    Gas Getter

If you really want to use your shop compressor and get into the vacuum wine business cheaply, I see Harbor Freight has their "Air Vacuum Pump with R134A and R12 Connectors" for 14.99. This is the venturi type that others clarified. You don't need the connectors that come with it but a few...

    Chocolate wine

Hi Ron, Over thanksgiving I was gifted a bottle of the plain choc variety and was able to compare it with my just 1 yr old WE Chocolate Raspberry port. If you watch the video, via the link Appleman posted, it revealed my tasting suspicion, that it is composed of Cab, Choc, and a cream...

    WineXpert Chocolate Raspberry Port!

My CRP had yeast cast on 10/18/09, and I bottled it today. ( I needed the carboy, this years juice is coming out of primary ) I filtered it last week with 3 micron pads. It tastes great! ( think both time and filtering is good on this one as Wade suggests )

    Mosti Mondiale Meglioli Amarone

Yes, that is the stuff. see: Potassium K is the symbol from the elemental chart for Potassium so you will often see K-meta as a "shorthand" notation for Potassium Metabisulfite. ( and that is what I use too )
