I've made some of my best wines with the Finer kits but unfortunately this seems to be a common practice with LP

I mostly fill my bottling bucket with starsan solution. I then use my racking siphon setup to put a small amount of the solution in each bottle, shake up the solution, empty, and put them upside down in a drying rack. This rinses my bottles, my siphon and my bottling bucket all at the same time...

I have wondered if there is any difference between the winexpert kits and the Vineco kits. The ingredients included and the instructions appear to be the same.

I've pre-ordered the Australian red blend and am anxious to get it. I have been very happy with the Finer kits. Took the Syrah to a get together and it was a hit.

When I told my wife that they recommend letting it age for at least a couple months, she said "you got to be s***ing me." lol One thing I will say, if you're buying $!0 - $15 a bottle, wine, you will be really happy with how good the kits are.

The wife started going through $30 a week for cheap wine. I saw kits online making 30 bottles for under $100. I brew beer so I pretty well had all the equipment for making the wine, just needed bottles, corks, and a corker. Once we made the first kit and realized what good wine the kits made and...

All the kits I've done with grape skins have included a muslin type bag to put them in.

Why did I never think of this? Cleaning oak chips out of fermenter is a pain

I just recently bottled the LE Walla Walla Cab/merlot kit and it is probably the best wine I have made and I've made a bunch of them.

I always wonder why the ice and fruity wines are lumped in with other wines. To compare a apricot peach chardonnay that uses a flavor pack to a true chardonnay is like apples and oranges. I think a peach perfection wine is no more a wine than the wine coolers at your local quick stop.
