how do i make it? i have a little less than 5 gal of 32.5 brix and above zin and its fairly hot as of now, its been fermenting away natively, then i added uv43 and goferm to make sure i get it as far along as possible. its a late harvest wine i guess. whats the difference between zin port and late harvest?

I would say one (the port) has had the ABV bumped up with Brandy and the Late Harvest does not. Both are sweet with the Late harvest usually being the sweeter of the two. I am going to make a Port out 6G of last years Petit Syrah. I let it ferment to dry so its like 16% ABV, I will bump it up to 19% with Brandy and then back sweeten with a can of Alexanders Zinfandel Concentrate to my desired sweetness level.
