Just so every 1 knows I was doing a little raisin research and found out what those Zante's really are, they are dried Black Corinth grapes.

Yes, they are little black grapes...no relation to currants at all....I found that out after I bought a box of them from a Food Co-op......They have kept very well and I still hope to use them in some sort of wine......

Thought of putting them with the Vintners Harvest Black Currant Fruit Base....then I'd have a Black Currant/Zante Grape wine.

I would love to find dried currants....never see them.

Just be careful as these are sulfated also to preserve the color so a few of the manufacturers state.

Wonder if the Vintner's Harvest Base is really Black Currants....
The ingredients on the can says Black Currant Concentrate....

So is it a 'fake' Zante "Currant" or...the real deal????
I kind of think that it is really Black Currants in there as the Zante Currants taste like raisins....
