curious what folks are doing for their own homemade Sangria...

Came across a recipe that I'm gonna give a whirl this Memorial Day weekend:

(1) 750ml Red vino (of choice)
2cups OJ
12oz Ginger Ale
1/4-1/2cup Cointreau
plus sliced apples, limes, lemons

and I'm gonna add some frozen mixed berries at or close to serving time

Cheers!

Turned out awesome! Used a Tempranillo & ended up making 2 batches.

Cheers! ✌

This is my preferred recipe from Bobby Flay, but I must warn all who try it: it is delicious and goes down far too easy, so it will leave you in much pain come morning if you aren't careful!

  • 2 bottles red Spanish table wine
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup triple sec/cointreau
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to taste (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, cooled)
  • Orange slices
  • Apple slices
  • Blackberries
Make it up about 24 hours before you plan to serve it.

This is my favorite as well. Excellent Sangria. Tempranillo works well.

My recipe is based on a sangria that we once had in a Flamenco bar in Madrid.
2 bottles of red wine
one cup of sweet vermouth
one cup of Triple Sec
Half cup of sugar
4 cups of Fresca (grapefruit lemon soda)
one sliced orange
one sliced lemon
