Help
is yeast nutrient the same as yeast energize, i am making skeeter pee and i only yeast nutrient

I'm sure you will get different answers butt,
I use nutrient as food for the yeasts to start/grow in the primary
The Energizer I use to stimulate and/or restart fermentation ( I use it on hard to start wines like Cranberry).

Nutrient usually contains Di-Ammonium Phosphate, Di-Potassium Phospate, Tastone and Magnesium Sulfate while Energizer contains Diammonium phosphate, yeast hulls, magnesium sulphate, & Vitamin B Complex. Each has its special place in wine making. Nutrient is usually used by itself when making wine from grapes and is usually accompanied by energizer when making wine from anything else as most other fruit wines lack what is needed as far as nutrients and minerals to ferment properly. Grapes are the perfect fermentation vessel for making wine and can usually do a good job even without the help of nutrients but why take the chance.
