I don't have alot of wine and grape knowledge. I figured i would get into this hobby to learn more about wine and wine making. My question is this my wife really muscato d'asti a sweet white wine, is there anything like that but in red. I wanna make a red wine but my wife does like red wine because all the ones she has tried have been really dry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Two choices.

Make a nice wine for yourself (dry if thats how you like it). Put some wine conditioner in your wife's glass to sweeten hers.

Make one of the mist wines (Niagara Mist, Island Mist, Orchard Breezin, etc). I really like the taste of the OB Blackberry Merlot and it makes great wine jelly, but it's too sweet for me. You can try a commercial version (Wild Vines, Arbor Mist).
