Has anyone well else found themselves on the forum almost 24-7? I may not be full of information, but I do like to read. Therefore, I find myself checking the forum at least every couple of hours. I guess that is how you know that you are part of a great forum if it keeps me coming back this often.

i, too, check at least 2-3 times per day. there is always something going on i want to keep up with, and if i've read the f=pac once, i've read it 10 times. and the recipe section, and the ..., well, u get the point:se
it's like having this great winemaking book right at your fingertips...

This proves one thing;

It's no longer a hobby,

YOU ARE NOW OBSESSED ![/SIZE]

every time my wife ask me what I am doing I tell her that I am on our forum

Yeah - i am guilty - i work on the computer all day - so i pretty much logged in all day - and i check it frequently.

Ditto. Can't pass the computer without checking in. On the couch or away from home, it's the iPhone.

Sometimes I don't log in. There is much here to learn and it's done in an enjoyable way.

I have a lot of down time at work so my iPhone is my best friend.

I'm on the forum right now.

Ok, so maybe that's obvious.

Seriously though....break and meal times at work my Blackberry keeps me abreast of new and updated posts.

When I'm on the computer at home it's Facebook, Wine Forum, Porn.

KIDDING......I don't do facebook.

Darren, don't you mean "wastebook"? Hold on, I'm going to blow my nose.:tz:):)

sometimes i feel FORCED to stay on facebook to stay in touch with friends:m
sometimes i think facebook is the ::
(i just had an image of momma in waterboy, lol)

I was considering seeing if Wade would be willing to host a WMTA (wne making talk anonymous ) meeting in his cellar each Wedsnday.

This wouldn't work for two reasons:

First of all, we all no each other, so it wouldn't be very anonymous.

Secondly, if we were in his cellar, the temptation would be to great. So, there wouldn't be any point in it at all huh?

LOL
:hug

LOL. I remember Wade sayig that his wife used to refer to the wine room as "THAT ROOM!"

I think there was more to it, like, all you do is spend all your time in "that room", or,just leave me alone, why dont you go to "that room", or something like that. LOL.

Maybe we ought to start planning a WMT get together in some part of the country central to most. Probably PA. We could do it next fall or something.

Maybe at a campground or on a piece of property. Somewhere where we could all get together and cook and drink , play music and not need to worry about anyone leaving drinking.

Maybe in Julies yard!! LOL

Anyone want to seriously consider talking about an idea like this? Let me know, it would take some coordination, but, it most certainly could be done. If we planned it a year in advance, we could have enough time for people to plan.

I actually had a crazy dream about this a while back. I will see if I can find the original thread.

OOOOOO! Now thats interesting.

We only have one Dorothy role to fill. Some of the ladies here ay take that as a challenge. We do have Glenda and hr counterpart, the wicked witch. (NIKKI?)

Ducking now!! LOL. And we will have to have Auntie EMM. We always have her other two uncles.

BUT, most importantly, who is going to be the scarecrow, tin man, and the Lion?

We could get Seth to be ToTo!!! LMFO ROTF now!

I quess it goe without saying, our ole buddy Wade would have to be the guy behind the curtain. LMFAO now!

Hey wait, we could do this.

There must have ben 1000 characters in the Wizard of Oz. We could find roles for the whole group. No flying monkeys though, they terrified me as a kid.

Absolutely cracking up now.

Lets do this.

Anyone?

I think my post count here speaks for itself! Troy Im impressed you remember "That room". I still do a lot of wine work but it doesnt bother her anymore as my wine has easily paid fpr itself with exchanging wine for labor many times. For instnace, we had a furnace problem about 1 year ago and it stopped working in the middle of the night on the coldest day of the winter and we were pretty darn tapped out but we had to get it fixed pronto and called the place that we always use and I usually give him a cple bottles. he came out in the middle of the night, replaced 2 parts and spent 2 hours figuring out the problem and fixing it and when we asked him the price he stated" Just a few bottles of wine because my wife loves your wine"! There have been other occasions but that one was the clincher and she doesnt say a peep when I go down "there" anymore!

I dont think i've logged off for a solid hour since i joined like 2 weeks ago.. Is that bad?

Excellent Wade, thats the way it is suppose to be.

But do you think a WMT get together could be possible if we plan far in advance?
