Wine from partridge berries from Newfoundland?

Ive heard partrige berry wine has a minty taste. Never tasted any though.

I have no idea where to obtain the berries other than the Newfie store in Cambridge which is about a half hour from me. They sell them frozen. I would love fresh but I will take what I can get, lol.

I've eaten lots fresh, not much flavor, just a hint of wintergreen, my kid's call them toothpaste berries. I guess they're not too far off lol.
