Hi guys,
First time poster. I have been taking an ABV reading before fermentation (about 1.06) and then after. My after reading is always 1.000. Everyone says my wine is too sweet and I am not sure what to do. It seems like it's not a stuck fermentation because all the sugar is gone. Help.

If it stops at 1 exactly, there's some sugar left. That's one possible reason. Some people mistake aromatic or fruity wines as sweet, even if they aren't.

Tell us a bit about this wine and what people say.

Some varietals will have the flavor of sweetness. When I’ve made Grenache it has tasted sweet, even though it did have any residual sugar.
