I have been tormenting a pail of merlot grapes that I bought from wine grapes direct. Finally got to the point of pressing today and now I am going to add my culture of mlf bacteria.

Question is that it says best by April 6th. Should it still be viable or should I go out and get a new one?

This is my first attempt at fresh grapes so im quite unfamiliar with everything im doing.

I wouldn't use it, the viability will be extremely low if at all.
