Which reading should i use?

Hey, i was making my kilju and my initial gravity reading before adding yeast was 1.070... One day later the reading is 1.080. I let the must sit in the hydrometer for about an hour and triwled the hydrometer and everything.. Im wanting to stepfeed my kilju but im not sure which reading i should use. I used invert syrup btw

Take another reading - maybe the must was not mixed well.

Looks like all the sugars were not mixed well. use 2nd reading.

alright, ill use the second reading.. ya woulda figured that after shaking and using invert that the first reading woulda been good...

5 gallons of water plus sugar free lime juice. . 8 lbs of sugar. Energizer, B vitamen. really simple
