So I have noticed that I prefer the plastic/rubber bungs that look like the attached image. The only issue is of they are wet they don't like to stay in, in which case I make an effort to dry them off. I do however have a solid rubber Bung but I find they are extremely difficult to remove even with a flat blade screwdriver. What does everyone prefer to use and why?

Solid rubber, it stays! not a problem to remove, at 10 years they have hardened a bit and don’t hold, dust can do the same but they clean back to normal
Vented silicone is good when out gassing, it will leak if I pull a vacuum with a plastic carboy/ cubitainer
Molded, in your picture, does not stay put
