I have my wine in a big mouth bubbler for primary fermentation/extended maceration and after my last punch down, I noted that I haven't had any bubbles through the airlock. I am worried that I have lost my CO2 cap. I would like to top it off, but am not exactly sure how to do so.

Or am I better off just tossing some sanitized marbles in there to reduce the headspace and avoid a reaction with wine and the CO2?
