Winery Assistant
New Winery is searching for the right entry level person to help in our winery. The full-time position is available immediately. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Winemaker in our brand new Winery.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and wine barrels. Cleaning is a big part of winemaking. Experience in the food industry may be very helpful. Assist in winemaking and sampling of wine. Help supervise volunteers during harvest season.
Hands on in the day to day winery operations under the direction of the winemaker including pumping wine, moving pallets, wine sampling and testing. Will train the right person. Ideal for someone looking for a career in the wine business.
Qualifications:
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Food industry background is helpful
• Hardworking
• Motivated
• Mechanically inclined
