Vineyard work

I am considering work in a vineyard this season. Is there anything to look out for, such as use of chemicals and pesticides, that may not be desirable? I have previously worked on organic farms, but am not as knowledgeable when it comes to wine.

I dont think the vineyards are allowed to use anything that is very harmful to you and if you are worried just ask to see the MSDS info on the chemicals and wear a respirator if needed.

Welcome. Where are you located? Are there many vineyard jobs in the area or would you move? The amount and type of sprays used by them and in them would depend on a large part by where it is in the country or world. If they spray chemicals, they will provide training for worker safety and required protection gear while applying it.

Do you have any experience in vineyard work? Some will train you but a lot won't even consider you unless you have experience.
