Using Marbles

Has anyone ever used glass marbles to top off you carboys?? Rather than using wine, water ect... Told marbles work well to take up space if you have enough of them??

It will work.

I did it on my strawberry wine last year and on some other wines.
It works fine.

Just make sure to sanitise the marbles in a sulphite solution.
