Question. 12.5 gauge for the wire? Seems small, but that's what I'm finding.

Most likely. Assuming you are talking about trellis wires and that the plants are grapes and that the grapes are not muscadines.

Yes, grape trellis. Frontenac, Marquette, cab sav & cab franc.
I've already started. 12.5 gauge high tensile wire.

Be sure it's high tensile steel.

Thanks. & yes, it's high tensile. The first spool I picked up was aluminum. Luckily the girl at tractor supply was aware & asked me what I was doing with it & told me that the high tensile was out locked in the yard, not in the store.

I have 3 of my 8 rows done now. Doing one every evening after the temp cools off.
