ok, got a batch of black-plum wine started tonite, sunday 10/19, that is i added the yeast and set the air-lock. now i find out that i have to leave town next sat 10/25. which is the best choice; to rack to a secondary after only 5 days in primary, or to leave wine (and pulp) in the primary for 18 days? THANKS FOR THE INPUT!
