Too cold?

Hi all and a good day to you. I ordered a couple kits 1 sauvignon blanc and 1 pinot grigio I am excited to start them but the room I planned on putting them in the temp stays around 65. Is that to cold? thank you all kindly.....Larry

It is a little cold to start, but once they are actively fermenting it is fine. you could use a heating pad or brew belt to keep them warm for the first couple of days.

65 is a fine temp. I ferment year round in my basement. It seldom gets much above 68. For whites I prefer a lower temp.

Agree with cmason1957.

Your temps are fine for whites. No need for a heating pad. Whites benefit from a slower, longer primary which could be ruined by warming the must.
