Toast your own oak?

I have some untreated white oak flooring left over from a recent remodel. I was wondering if I could heat it in the oven and use it for oaking my wine? Has anyone done this? As I said it has no finish on it. It has been kiln dried.

Nevermind I just read that many untreated flooring products have chemicals
