Time criteria to edit a post?

Is there any criteria on the time allowed to edit a prior post a user has made?

I went to update my "what are you making/what have you made" post (#882 in the thread) and when logged in I don't see the Edit button anymore leading me to think there's a time limit on that.

Is it possible to edit prior posts such as this to maintain the running list?

This is a question for a moderator but.
I have discovered that there is a time limit as will.
Its easy enough to simply reply to your post and state the mistake, spelling error, ect.
Your edit may be noticed but your reply will.
