I’ve been noticing some leaves that start out deformed but end up ok. I got out my digital microscope and took a look. It turns out thrips are causing the deformity, they saw away at the leaf and then drink the sap. I’m trying to limit my inorganic insecticide use so I’m going to try a new insecticide called Spinosad. It’s supposed to be safe for beneficial bugs.
