LOOK BELOW the message box. You will see Thread subscription "notification Type". Open window and change to your preference

You can go into User CP on the upper right hand side of this forum and edit all these features, basically in the same area where you added your location. If yu cant figure this out pm me and Ill do it for you later tonight as I have a appointment I have to go to in a little bit.

Actually you should have to go in and check it TO subscribe automatically to threads you start or reply to.
