Not sure if this is needed but when I first started all the terms confused me.
I came here and saw K-Meta and had no idea what it was until I learned it was Potassium Meta... I thought a post with some common terms might be nice. Feel free to add some if you like :)



--hint for anyone using firefox and searching for a word in a webpage....Hit 'ctrl-F' and type in the word you are looking for...I use this everyday.

I like that idea, I think a sticky there in Beginners would be a good idea.

Cool.

One question...I found differences in amounts for K-Meta prior to fermentation. What do you think is appropriate for the sticky?

Normal usage is 1/8 tsp to 1/4 tsp for 6 gallon recipe in must 24 hours before adding yeast
Is that okay or would you all like a definite amount?
