Well chime in, I think most of us realize champagne is in a class by itself. So I started this thread on behalf of all those who would like some bubbles in their wine. Bubbles in your life may need a thread of it's own, and by golly, they may be related somehow.:)

So anyone who would like to talk/discuss more about sparkling wine please pop a cork and tell us what you know.

Champagne and Sparkling wine are 1 in the same with the exception that it is not produced in a certain region of France.

What do you call it when you make it in the middle of the wilderness of Alaska? Wine with bubbles. Just a thought.

It is possible however to introduce bubbles into anything however, isn't it?

As long as you can ferment it or carbonate it in another way then yes

It is a bit difficult in concrete, but even there it is done.......

Sparkling wine by accident

I just neglected to de-gas my wine and was pretty sparkling! I kind of liked it that way. I guess that doesn't count as sparkling wine, does it?
