Temporary Forum shutdown

On the night of the 12th we will be moving all our servers to another to another data center for a more secure site. You may have noticed this site was slow for a few days early this week and was even down sporadically, to avoid this happening anymore it is in our best interest to do this and will e done in a short period of time, this will not be anything like what some are thinking as we speak so dont panick.

Had a false start a few days ago, but no kiddo yet. My wife keeps telling me to go to bed, too. Can't decide whether to rest up or get used to sleep deprivation.

Sleep deprivation doesn't usually kick in til after your baby is 6 weeks old..

My hubby took his baby time off work, at the 8 to 12 week mark, because that was when the tiredness of feeding and broken sleep really hit you. At least I could sleep in the day.. but he had to go to work.

OK guys. Here is the latest on Temp shut down on the 12th.
Site will go offline at 9PM Central and come back online roughly 1-2AM. But also the DNS has to propagate so it could be late Sunday morning.
Wish us luck...

Just bumping this post up again as a reminder to all, also for those who have just joined and may be unaware.

This forum ( website) will be offline on the evening of the 12th february 2010 for server maintenance.

The URL will be the same right? "www.winemakingtalk.com" Will we lose any of our saved info such as avatars, anything on the profiles, and I am mostly worried about archived threads from the search engine, "my topics", etc. Please reassure us Dr. Wade.

Should the url change.. you can be assured a blanket email will be sent advising every member of the changes made and will include a link to get back into the website.

The entire site will be moved across to the new server. Don't worry about your avatars or previous posts.. everything will be carried across.

Huh, I did write a post to Troys question but for some reason its not here! Everything will be fine, it just might take a day or 2 to get everything smooth.
