Sweetness

Watered and did the "taste test" as I went. All varieties have good sweetness. Pips getting a brown tint. Only the Carmenere had a slight green taste. Almost time to start brix testing. No frost forecast, looking good!

i know nothing about grapes, but frist that looks awsome and 2 ,, it is obvious you put tons of work in your vineyard, man that is NICE,,,

Been busy, had a rain finally, just got around to a Brix check!

Cabs on first! Low 20s, 21-22+

Syrah on second, most around 20-21, one heavily loaded vine was 18

Merlot on third, very high teens and a few 20s

Carmenere dead last at very high teens. Noted that green taste, but also noted a couple samples at 21 lost the green taste.

4-5 more days in the 70s the temp drop to lower 50s and low 40s at night. I'm going to hold out for a while and see how it goes.

SE WA state. 2400 ft elevation in the Blue Mtns.
