Good day all. Need some help please.Struggling to find wine home brew stores in SA. Looking for ingredients like potassium metabisulphite and fermaid O. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Welcome to wine making talk

I haven’t been to South Africa so no help on brick and mortar vendors. For small quantities you might be stuck with the web. For chemicals I would also order out of the Fisher Scientific catalog. SA has wineries, might be worth fishing at a winery to see where they get materials.

Hi I've been at it for about 10 years in South Africa.
cactuscraft.co.za stocks winemaking as well as beer brewing supplies. They are probably your best bet as they sell a 2.5kg pack that is a nutrient mix that includes fermaid O.
Brewcraft.co.za has a nice range.
Distillique has a range of yeasts and nutrients.
Barrelstix.co.za stocks mini barrels and some yeast.
Brewmart.co.za has winemaking supplies as well as beer brewing.
Homebrew shop.co.za also has quite a few things.

I checked my notes:
Beerlab has a range of yeast anda wine nutrient mix that is DAP and Fermaid O.
Wine machinery group has everything you might need, but they tend to supply wineries.

Might also get a few things from beerguevara - I got my 5l fermenters from them.
