I have a one gallon batch I need to use it in. Will I hurt the wine using it in such a small batch. It is a one gallon vidal ice wine with a 1.06 sg.

I wouldnt usethe whole packet for 1 gallon, just eye up what would be close to 1/6th of each packet.

I used the whole thing for my 1 gallon strawberry wine. Didn't think it would hurt since it said up to 5 gallons.

But - we will see how it turns out..

I agree with Wade...I did that recently with one gallon. Eye it up, even if you just go half a packet of each it's certainly enough.

I dont think it will do more then maybe strip a little color and just create a lot of lees at the bottom which will make it harder to rack such a small amount already of wine off of.
