I have a red now bulk aging since dec 5th, 2018. I used super kleer 1.5 months ago and it looked fantastic. I continued to bulk age to reduce some tannins. Now my science project is cloudy again. Should I have bottled after the super kleer? Can I Kleer again? Will it become cloudy in the bottle?

Thanks,

Chuck

Did you rack off the superkleer sediment after it all settled? I've read a few posts where prolonged exposure to chitosan can produce a haze, so I always rack after 3-4 days when everything is super clear.

Yes, there is very little lees left behind and I added a few tablets of meta bisulfite to stabilize after racking. I de-gassed a few days before adding the kleer too. I just dont understand why it is cloudy again. Could it be that I dont have air conditioning in my home and it is a bit warm? Do you recommend adding the super kleer again before bottling?
