I use plastic food wrap held down tightly with rubber bands during all stages of racking before bottling. I've done this for decades with no oxidation of wine. Straight into secondary fermenter from primary my rubber bands are less tight.
 
from the food industry view, ,,, plastic wrap will transmit oxygen, LDPE transmits enough oxygen that it produces a sherry like flavor, silicone transmits oxygen, natural cork transmits oxygen, etc

i could not do it since my world is based on a two year shelf life, ,,,, but for a week really it doesn’t matter.
