strawberry Wine Recipe

I just started a batch of Strawberry Wine. I just noticed that the recipe does not call for any yeast nutrient or yeast starter. Should I add some. What are the pros and cons.

The starter is a matter of opinion. Some make them, some don't. The nutrient helps keep the yeast happy. You do not need it, but it helps keep the yeast from stressing and giving off bad smells. Just helps the ferment go along smoother. Arne.
