I am looking for a proven recipe for 5-6 gallons of stawberry wine made from fresh strawberries:a1
I am new to wine making(this will be my third time) so keep it simple!!:D

thanks

You gotta be reading my mind (and it's a short story).
We have a farm near us that sells all kinds of fruit/vegetables. I told my wife last night we'll go this srring/summer when the strawberries are ripe and make a strawberry wine.

They let you eat as many as you want for free while picking. I'll have to search this and other sites for one. I'm sure St. Allie or Julie have one.

This works well I do almost the same I just use different yeast. I like to use 7A-1122. It seems to hold fruity taste well

My recipe for 6 gals:

40 lbs of strawberries
6 cans of Welch's Grape Juice Concentrate (11.5oz frozen)
Water to 5.75 gal
Sugar to a S.G. of 1.085
Top off with water to right over 6 gal mark
Pectic Enzyme
Wine Tannins
Yeast Nutrient
Acid test to 0.6%
1/4 tsp K-meta
I use Lalvin D-47 for my Strawberry..turns out GREAT!

After stabilization, add sugar until you get the sweetness you desire.
