For those who are fermenting this Fall, it's about time to solidify your essential supplies before you're faced with the mad rush and possible stock outs. We ordered early last year and it did relieve a little stress. There's already enough stress waiting to get final confirmation on your grape orders and whether you'll get the expected weight and ripeness.

A group of us just placed a large order for Andante yeast, non-sacc yeast (Prelude), D47 yeast, Go Ferm, Ferm K, MLF Bacteria (Enoferm Beta and CH16), Acti-ML nutrient, Tartaric acid, SO2, and breathable barrel bungs. We used to order almost exclusively through More Wine but we've found better pricing via Lodi Wine Labs. A hint for working with Lodi, use their search button and if you don't see it, call them. They have really great customer service. Most supplies were through Lodi and the remainder via Gusmer.

The guy at Lodi commended us for getting the order in early to avoid the rush, so don't procrastinate on getting your supplies.

Good advice - especially where MLB is concerned. I feel like MoreWine runs out of VP41 and a few other things early. Or if they don't, you may end up paying extra shipping to get it from the east vs west coast warehouse. No complaints about MoreWine, but there will probably constrained supply on a few things.
