Just finished some fruit wine. Just under 5 gallons. Currently in a 5.5 gal carboy with too much air space.
I normally use super kleer but I am all out.

I do have a bottle of sparkalloid (and bentonite) which I used a few years back. I am not opposed to using either, I just recall not clearing as well.

It I will be a week before I can get some super kleer, which means a week or 2 before I can rack.

Do wait for superkleer or have confidence in the sparkalloid (or bentonite)???

Advice please?

I could not edit my post to post a picture. The system would indicate “no permission”

the air space is fine. been doing it tat way for over thirty years. just make sure so2 level is correct. 1/4 tsp k-meta would work for 5 gallons.

Thanks for info.
In your 30 years of wine making what is your preferred method of clearing?
