Sorbate..is it still good in wine 3 months later.

Added sorbate to last racking 3 months ago. Will it still work if I add sugar now for sweetening?

Yes, it's still there and will be, I don't believe that it dissipates.

Think a safer process, for future reference, is to wait until about a week before you plan on back-sweetening to add the sorbate. Some folks have found a change in taste in sorbated wines after a couple of years. Most of my wine never lasts that long so ivI' never had a problem.
